Google takes AI Brief to seven more languages and adds an AI Max journey report

AI Brief now covers seven more languages in beta. A new report will link search terms, ad assets and landing pages.

Google said on 23 September that it is bringing AI Brief to seven more languages: Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish. The tool is still a closed beta. Google also announced a new AI Max report that follows the path from search term to landing page.

AI Brief lets advertisers steer AI Max in plain words

AI Brief sits inside AI Max for Search campaigns, Google’s AI setup that writes ad text and picks searches. Advertisers type instructions about their business, their audience and key messages. Google’s own wording is that it lets you guide AI Max “in your own words”. When Google unveiled the tool in April, it was in English only, trade site PPC Land reported. Examples then included “never mention prices”.

The new report shows search terms, assets and landing pages together

The second change is a report. Google says it will show one view of the Search ads journey. That covers which search terms triggered an ad, which creative assets people saw and which page they landed on. Google says the view should also help show what AI Max adds to a campaign.

Google has been adding reporting tools to the Ads interface. AI dashboards have started showing up in advertiser accounts, and the platform has added A/B tests for budgets and CPA or ROAS targets.

Google gives no dates for either change

The post does not say when the new languages or the report will reach accounts. Google only promised “additional details and availability later this year”. It also did not say how many advertisers use AI Brief today.

The next test for Google is its own deadline. Will the seven languages and the journey report reach accounts before the end of 2026, as the post promised, or slip into next year? Polish, Swedish and other markets are not yet on the list at all.
