Omnicom media revenue grew by more than 10% organically in the third quarter of 2026, while its creative advertising agencies shrank at a mid-single-digit rate. Chief financial officer Phil Angelastro gave the figures on the October 22 earnings call, Best Media Info reported. According to Omnicom’s results release, integrated media brought in $3.2 billion, or 53% of core revenue. Advertising brought in $935.4 million.
Omnicom’s core business grew 7.2% after the IPG deal
Core operations, which leave out businesses Omnicom has sold or plans to sell, made $6.0 billion. Organic growth was 7.2%, up from 6.1% in the second quarter and 3.9% in the first. Reported revenue reached $6.4 billion. The rise of about $2.4 billion on a year earlier comes mostly from Interpublic Group, which Omnicom bought in November 2025.
The adjusted operating margin rose to 18.2% from 16.2%. Omnicom says it is on track for $900 million in cost savings from the merger this year. In the quarter it spent $84.7 million on severance and repositioning, mostly on real estate and exit costs.
Omnicom PR grew slightly while health agencies dipped
Public relations made $678.3 million, with low single-digit growth. Health agencies made $566.6 million and dipped slightly. Experiential and other services grew strongly thanks to the FIFA World Cup, but the CFO does not expect growth there in the fourth quarter.
New work in the quarter came from Novo Nordisk, US Bank, L’Oréal and CVS Health. Mercedes-Benz extended its contract to 2029. After the quarter closed, Omnicom also won Coca-Cola’s North American media.
Omnicom expects 5% growth for 2026, matching Publicis’ quarter
Omnicom expects about 5% organic growth for its core operations this year. Its French rival Publicis reported 5% growth in the third quarter. Earlier this year, Omnicom Media said it won $3.3bn in new billings in the first half.
Creative advertising’s share of core revenue slipped to 15.6% from 15.7% a quarter earlier. The next figures arrive with the fourth-quarter results in early 2027. The CFO expects no growth in experiential once World Cup work ends, so more of the 5% target for the year rests on media.
