Oliver Ramm takes over as executive creative director at Mutabor Advertising on 1 October 2026. He replaces Kathi Walter, who set the unit up in January and is leaving at her own request. The Hamburg outfit is nine months old.
Ramm ran creative at Kolle Rebbe for eight years
Ramm led a creative unit at Kolle Rebbe from 2012 and stayed eight years. He then worked in television and branded entertainment, and as a freelance creative director. Mutabor Advertising’s chief executive Amelie Pamp also came from Kolle Rebbe, so the two have worked together before.
Kathi Walter goes nine months after starting the unit
Walter and Pamp launched Mutabor Advertising in mid-January 2026. Blachreport reports that Walter asked to leave and has not said where she is going. The unit therefore changes its creative lead before its first birthday. Krow’s creative chief also left this month, in that case during a merger.
Mutabor Advertising has grown from eight staff to 15
Blachreport puts the team at 15 people, up from eight at launch. It works for three clients on campaign advertising. Anna-Katharina Herzog joined as business director in April 2026 from David+Martin, after earlier spells at Thjnk and Kolle Rebbe. Three of the four senior names at the unit passed through the same Hamburg agency.
German agencies are hiring against a shifting market. German media agencies expect AI advertising to pass search within five years, and owners keep moving senior people to match, as Score Media Group did with its new chief executive. Ramm starts on 1 October. Whether a unit built on brand design can win campaign budgets on its own will show in the accounts it books before January.
