Harper’s Bazaar Poland is back in shops. The first issue of the relaunched monthly went on sale on 3 September. Osnova Publishing puts it out under a licence from Hearst Magazines International signed in February 2026. The cover shows the British actress Tilda Swinton, photographed by Johnnie Shand Kydd.

Osnova Publishing printed 100,000 copies of the first issue

The debut issue has 336 pages and costs 19.90 zlotys, about 4.60 euros. The publisher plans ten issues a year and printed 100,000 copies, the Polish trade titles Press and Wirtualnemedia report. Zuzanna Krzatala is the editor-in-chief. Hanna Rydlewska is publishing director, Marzena Jarczak creative director, Marcin Rozyc fashion director and Maja Mendraszek-Goser beauty director. The website HarpersBazaar.pl went live a day before the print launch.

Advertising fills 102 of the 336 pages

Wirtualnemedia counted 102 advertising pages in the first issue. That is close to a third of the magazine. Fashion and beauty brands bought that space before any reader had seen a copy. Filling an ad book is the hardest part of starting a magazine, so the number says something about how much demand there still is for glossy print in Poland. Other parts of the market are moving as well. Rzeczpospolita has just changed its editor-in-chief, and TVN led the August television ratings.

A spread costs 65,000 zlotys on the rate card

Press published the rate card. A double-page spread is listed at 65,000 zlotys net, a right-hand page at 35,300 zlotys and a left-hand page at 27,600 zlotys. These are list prices, so what brands really pay is usually lower. The publisher says it is aiming at working women over 28 who live in cities and finished higher education.

Vogue Polska and Harper’s Bazaar share one owner

Osnova belongs to Katarzyna Jordan. She also owns Visteria, the publisher of Vogue Polska. The two best-known fashion monthlies in the country now sit with the same owner. Harper’s Bazaar had a Polish edition before, run by Marquard Media Polska, and it closed years ago. For a media buyer planning a fashion campaign, that means fewer sellers and one group holding most of the premium pages. It may be worth asking what a package across both titles costs before booking either one alone.
