PepsiCo press materials

PepsiCo launched its first corporate brand campaign on 17 September 2026. In “House of Brands”, the PepsiCo brand campaign shows its own products pitching to take over the company name, from “Cheetos-Co” to “Quaker-Co”. The films end on the line “Food. Drinks. Smiles.”

Only 18% link PepsiCo to brands beyond Pepsi

The reason is awareness. PepsiCo says only 18% of people connect the company with brands other than Pepsi. Its portfolio has more than 500 brands, including Doritos, Lay’s, Gatorade and Poppi. Smaller names such as Alvalle, Good Warrior and Simply NKD also appear in the campaign material. The company says its products reach consumers more than a billion times a day.

The films are made for social media first, Marketing Week reported. PepsiCo has not named the agency behind them. The campaign builds on the corporate identity the company refreshed in 2025.

A fake renaming teaser set off PepsiCo rebrand rumours

Before the launch, PepsiCo teased new company names. Some outlets treated it as a possible real rebrand, and Parade ran a piece explaining what was going on. The full campaign makes clear that the name stays. A name change at a global company is big news, as Novo Nordisk’s switch to Novo showed this week.

Coca-Cola ran a portfolio campaign in 2024

Marketing Week compared the work with a 2024 portfolio campaign from Coca-Cola. PepsiCo’s range is wider, with snacks and staple foods next to drinks. The two rivals also meet in agency reviews. PepsiCo moved its global media to Publicis, while WPP kept Coca-Cola’s international media.

The number to watch is 18%. PepsiCo has not said what awareness level it wants to reach or how much it is spending on the campaign. Whether it worked will be clear only if the company publishes a new survey.
