Google began the worldwide rollout on 24 September 2026. The multimodal search type covers visits that started with a picture instead of typed words.
Google Analytics has a new report type called Dashboards. Standard properties can place up to 15 cards on one board; Analytics 360 properties get 30.
GA4 reports showed no traffic at all for 1 September. Google has not commented, and nobody knows yet whether the missing numbers come back.
Every website can now see in Search Console how often it appears in Google AI answers, and can switch itself out of them. The report still does not show clicks.
