Do we ask for consent

Analytics
Loaded only after consent. They show how many people read the site and which articles. We do not link this data to your name or email address.

Advertising
Loaded only after marketing consent. They relate to Google advertising, which starts with monetisation of the site. Without consent ads still appear, they are simply not tailored to your interests.

Functional

Changing or withdrawing consent
Use the link below to reopen the consent settings and change your choice.
You can also delete and block cookies in your browser’s privacy settings. Blocking the necessary ones means the consent banner will appear on every visit.
What happens if you decline
The site works as usual. We simply will not see which articles are being read, and advertising will be untargeted rather than tailored. We never withhold content because you declined.
